Even if the absolute were found it would not be enough. The distinction between architecture and the shelter lies in the formers infinite ability to interpret basic needs in some special way which accentuates them or conditions them so they take on a greater relevance. At best architecture gives experience a further dimension.

The architecture of the past used a static language; the architecture of the immediate past has had to invent a language to absorb dynamic and change; it is reasonable to predict that the architecture of the future might actually embody this dynamic.
