V for Heat

Found in Stockholm:

In 1981, architects Judith Turner and Stig von Huth write a list of commandments. These are nine rules that are intended to guide them in their work.

Document 1: "9 BUDORD 1981" (9 Commandments 1981)

1. Take care of the fuel that we have. 2. Take care of surplus heat, people, data and lighting. 3. Seal up. 4. Insulate. 5. Store heat in the building structure. 6. Reflect heat back indoors with heat-reflecting glass windows. 7. Reduce window size but maximise solar input with angled window reveals. 8. Check that the technology works and is economical. 9. Renew all city plans with solar-oriented houses that maximise window exposure towards the sun.
